Custom Firmwares [Upgrading/Downgrading]

M33 Users Upgrade to 5.00m33-6

Requirements :
- Battery 78% loaded,
- Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-3 = > < =4.01 M33-2 [fat PSP], or 3.60 m33 = > < = 4.01 M33-2 [Slim PSP] Others and Offical sony firmwares shouldn't try it.

To Install :
- USB cable.
- Extract the file you have downloaded anywhere on your computer.
- Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cable.
- Copy the "UPDATE" folder into /PSP/GAME
- Exit USB Mode and go to your XMB
- After you run the "PSP Update version 5.00"
- the screen turns black. Follow the on screen instructions, these instructions will take you to the Official Sony Update screen. press X for start..Press ">" button to continue..press "Accept" .. press ">" .. and press the "X" button Start update.. please wait..when update completed press the "X" button to restart automaticly.. done..
- Then you can erase "UPDATE" folder

- Copy the "UPDATE" folder into /PSP/GAME
- Copy the "550.PBP" file into main menu (memory stick first page)
- Exit USB Mode and run the "PSP Update ver GEN"
- Press "X" for Enter
- Select "Flash Install CFW 5.50 GEN-D" and Press "X". Start update.. please wait.
- When update completed press the "X" button to restart automaticly.. done..
- Then you can erase "550.PBP" file and "UPDATE" folder

To Install :
- Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cable.
- Copy the "RECOVERY" folder into /PSP/GAME
- Copy the "500.PBP" file into main menu (memory stick first page)
- Exit USB Mode and run the "Hellcats Recovery Flasher"
- Select "I agree"
- Select "Flash new 5.00-M33"
- Select ”Reset (format) settings as well” ... done..It will be 5.00-M33. check your from system settings..
- Then you can erase "RECOVERY" folder and "500.PBP"

PSP2000 and PSP3000 Update To 5.03 GEN-C(FULL)

TO INSTALL:
-Copy all the files inside the folder you extracted
-then Paste it to the root of your psp Memory Stick

-First go to psp "System settings" and choose "Format memory stick" to format your memory stick. But before, don't forget to backup your save data, pictures or music files.
-Then go to "System settings" again, and this time click on "Default settings" to restore your PSP to factory settings. After format, the files necessary for psp will be automatically created.

-BE SURE YOUR VERSION IS 5.03.

-ON YOUR PSP Go to the PHOTO>MEMORY STICK>ChickHEN Mod then Quickly go to the tiff picture at the bottom, and the screen will go black and will be back again.
-if It Automatically Restarts its Success
-If it automatically Shutdown its failed

-To check if it success.Go to System settings, and then to "system informations". Under it, look at the "version" , if it writes "HEN" you have succesfully completed the first step.If it doesn't writes "HEN" try again.If you see "HEN" continue.

-Now run the "GEN-C Updater" on the GAME tab.
-Press "X". After The installation is finished. Go to System Settings>Sytem Software and check it's version .. it should be 5.03Gen-C(FULL).

Now you can play ISO/CSO/PSX/HOMEBREW GAMES on your psp.. no need for plugins
if you have problem running an ISO/CSO
Go on VSH MENU
to go to VSH hold select in 2 seconds then vsh menu will pop up on your screen
then change UMD ISO MODE to m33 Driver.
